Jonah Jameson, Macdonald Gargan was paid a significant sum of money by Jameson to undergo an experimental procedure after his failure to discover how Peter Parker caught such amazing pictures of Spider-Man. Mac gained super strength, but was driven insane by the process. He now conducts all kinds of dangerous crimes as the sinister Scorpion of New York!
