Oliver Queen is the only child of Moira and Robert Queen, the latter being the CEO of Queen Industries in Star City. As a child, Oliver idolized Robin Hood and his skill with a bow and arrow and spent much of his free time training as much as possible. After being shipwrecked on Starfish Island, Oliver was forced to abandon his party-boy ways to survive with only his trusty bow to aid him. With a new lease on life, Oliver returned to Star City and crafted a heroic identity for himself to protect the weak: the mighty Green Arrow!
